Students also participate in community concerts, campus concerts, solo and ensemble concerts and competitions, concert and sightreading contests and music festivals. All students are encouraged to participate in the Texas Music Educators Association Region auditions, and the goal of the top musicians is to achieve musicianship in the Texas All-State organizations.
